First Advisory Panel Meeting
The first virtual advisory panel meeting of the Menai Strait Partnership Forum took place on the 6th of June. The meeting brought together a diverse group of advisors, including representatives from local council, environmental organizations, fishing communities, the tourism industry, and academia. The panel members engaged in vibrant discussions about the challenges facing the Menai Strait and explored potential solutions and project to conserve it for the future. The meeting focused on issues such as water quality, biodiversity conservation, coastal erosion, and climate change impacts. The panel members shared their knowledge, experiences, and concerns, contributing to an insightful exchange of ideas.
Some of the outcomes from this meeting included distinguishing a boundary and identfying and launching future projects. The meeting served as a platform to foster collaboration, gain a better understanding of the issues at hand, and pave the way for future actions and decisions that will safeguard the Menai Strait for generations to come.
