Menai Food Festival Success: Celebrating Our Community and the #LoveTheMenai Campaign!

This past weekend, the Menai Food Festival was a fantastic success! We had an amazing time raising awareness about The Menai Straits Partnership Forum and promoting our #LoveTheMenai campaign. This initiative is dedicated to preserving the Menai Straits for future generations by connecting local people and businesses who rely on these waters for their livelihood.

We had many great conversations and heard wonderful stories about how the Menai has evolved over the years. It was inspiring to discuss the steps we're taking to protect its future.

A highlight of the weekend was the "Slow the Flow" challenge, which was popular with young attendees. They were eager to learn about the water cycle and the crucial role trees play in helping to slow the flow of rivers and how it can affect the Menai.

As we move forward with our campaign, keep an eye out for our exciting upcoming events throughout August. There will be plenty of opportunities to get involved, bring our community together, and find solutions to the challenges that the Afon Menai faces.
